Recently I had the good fortune to accompany Robert Van Waarden on a mission to gather human-interest stories around wind energy in the UK. Robert is a professional photographer who focuses on climate change and travel stories. Currently based in Amsterdam, he is soon to return to his native Canada with wife-to-be, Anna. Van Waarden has been working on his Force wind energy project for more than two years now. Recently he successfully secured the support of the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA). His stories are being featured on their blog ahead of Global Wind Day on 15th June 2013. A selection of his images will also be displayed at the European Parliament in June.
